Random Africa Memory...

Most of you will remember our story about the giant spider we found in our tent in Africa last year. Well...tonight I was really bored watching Dave play X Box football and decided to research this "African Rain Spider". So I decided I would share this picture. This thing was sleeping in the tent with us!!!Some more thoughts on Mr. Spider...If you found this spider in your tent what are you supposed to do? You can't very well step on it...it's huge. That would be like trying to step on a rat. I don't think bug spray would work either. I think Mr. Spider would laugh at me if I pulled out a can of raid. So I looked into this online. Apparently in Africa they catch them and keep them as pets. Pets!!??!! According to the article I found they make great pets because while they will bite and it will hurt, they do not have any venom. So it will hurt you but not kill you. Good to know.
